The 2023 Mount Edward Rosé from Central Otago is a dry, organic Pinot Noir rosé made via whole-bunch pressing and wild yeast fermentation, delivering a light copper/salmon hue with refreshing acidity and textures from fine skin tannins.

In Appearance : light salmon hue.
On the Nose : aromas of strawberries, rose petals, peaches, red apple, and subtle floral lees complexities.

Mount Edward

Established in 1997 by Central Otago pioneer Alan Brady—also the founder of Gibbston Valley Wines—the winery began as a hands-on project focused on premium Pinot Noir and Riesling. Current owners John Buchanan and winemaker Duncan Forsyth took over in 2004, expanding into diverse varieties while upholding Brady’s ethos of minimal intervention and wild yeast fermentation.

Five BioGro-certified estate vineyards span Gibbston and Pisa sub-regions and soils range from glacial gravels to alluvial fans, yielding elegant, mid-weight style wines with fine tannins.
