Rose the perfect summer wine. A lighter bodied, refreshing, easy drinking, a serious summer wine. A refreshing style of Rose made from our Felton Road vineyard.
In Appearance: Light copper colour.
On the Nose: Aromas of strawberries and rose petals.
On the Palate: A dry old school style with flavours of summer fruits and flowers throughout the palate.
The grapes were whole bunch pressed over 5 hours to retain a little colour – fermented in stainless steel at ambient temperatures using wild yeasts.A refreshing style of Rose made from our Felton Road vineyard.

Mount Edward
Established in 1997 by Central Otago pioneer Alan Brady—also the founder of Gibbston Valley Wines—the winery began as a hands-on project focused on premium Pinot Noir and Riesling. Current owners John Buchanan and winemaker Duncan Forsyth took over in 2004, expanding into diverse varieties while upholding Brady’s ethos of minimal intervention and wild yeast fermentation.
Five BioGro-certified estate vineyards span Gibbston and Pisa sub-regions and soils range from glacial gravels to alluvial fans, yielding elegant, mid-weight style wines with fine tannins.
