2018 Kelly Washington Chardonnay

This Chardonnay comes from an old vineyard in the Rapaura region of Marlborough, where sandy loam soils dominate. Larger old barrels have predominantly been used to naturally ferment the wine.
In Appearance: Bright, even straw-yellow in colour.
On the Nose: The 2018 is quite subtle on the nose, offering mealy and smoky notes.
On the Palate: The palate is highly textured and layered, yet supported by fine boned acidity and classic bready notes. A classic cool climate Chardonnay.
