Grape History :
Areni is thick-skinned and late-ripening. Grown in the highlands of Vayots Dzor, the region that revealed the world’s oldest known winery, Areni has been cultivated here for thousands of years, carrying forward an ancient winemaking tradition.
In Color : Deep ruby hue
On the Nose : aromas of wild red berries.
On the palate: plum and subtle pepper notes unfold into supple, velvety tannins and a lingering finish. Medium tannins and medium-to-high acidity frame a bouquet of cherry and spice.
