2021 Kelly Washington Organic Chardonnay, Marlborough

This Chardonnay comes from an old vineyard in the Rapaura region of Marlborough, where sandy loam soils dominate. Larger old barrels have predominantly been used to naturally ferment the wine.

In Appearance: Pale gold hue.

On the Nose: Delicate notes of white peach, melon and citrus.

On the Palate: Savoury, toasty, nutty notes which are promoted by a mindful selection of French oak. Wholly complete yet with great aging potential. The KW Chardonnay brings together poise and elegance, and is defined by long, flinty finish.
