2021 Stepp Pinot Blanc, Pfalz, Germany – A fine and complex Pinot Blanc with lots of fresh lemon and autumn apples with a hint of toasted brioche, from its time spent ‘sur lie’, coming through on the palate. It has a crisp and persistent freshness on the finish.
2020 Bideona Viura de Cabezadas, Rioja, Spain – Fresh & subtle nose, pure aromas of stone fruit with a touch of white flowers. Light and crisp on the palate with a refreshingly dry, slightly mineral finish.
2022 Zonin ‘Classici’ Pinot Grigio, Friuli DOC – Delicately fruity, relatively full and ample with an ensemble of aromas of great finesse. Lightly dry yet extremely fresh. Its pleasantly balanced and elegant structure makes this an unusually refined and aristocratic wine.
(organic) 2022 Momo Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough – A refined, yet wholly classic Sauvignon Blanc from Marlborough. Densely aromatic, with lush notes of passionfruit, tropical fruits and dried herbs. The palate is vibrant and balanced, yet dry with ripe sherbet like acidity giving great length.
(organic) 2022 Frankland Estate Chardonnay, Western Australia – Very lifted and intriguing nutty and almond meal aromas on the nose. Ripe nectarines and lemon curd intertwined. Very complex palate that rewards with time in the glass to fully express Itself. Stony and textural upfront balanced by white peach and a saline acidity.
2022 Cuvar Iris Chardonnay, Hawkes Bay – Bursts of candied tropical fruits intertwined with notes reminiscent of warm fruit crumble. Gentle oak wraps around the palate of balanced acid and ripe fruit – this Chardonnay is a crowd pleaser where nothing is too dominant with the fruit, oak, acid and flavours all sing in harmony.
