“Delightfully styled and expressed, the bouquet showcases sweet strawberries, crunchy apples, apricots, and floral nuances, culminating in a refreshing palate that is juicy and lively. Beautifully balanced and lingering with tasty flavours. At its best: now to 2027” Sam Kim, Wine Orbit, Mar 2025

“Very appealing bouquet and palate with aromas and flavours that remind of ripe, warm climate Hawkes Bay with fresh red berries and red apple skin then chilled red zinger tea. Just dry on the palate with fine tannins and acidity framing the core fruit flavours. Balanced and well made in a drink now expression. Best from 2025 through end of 2026” Cameron Douglas, Master Sommelier, Mar 2024

Herringbone

A boutique winery based in the Bridge Pa Triangle of Hawkes Bay, Herringbone is known for producing high-quality, single-estate wines that express the unique soils and climate of the region. Owned by Karen and Troy since 2016, the vineyard has vines that are over 20 years old and grows primarily Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, and Malbec. Their winemaking philosophy focuses on minimal intervention to let the vineyard’s qualities shine through, with Dan Brennan as their winemaker.

The vineyard benefits from unique red metal soils over an ancient riverbed and a microclimate sheltered by nearby Roys Hill. They aim to emphasize Syrah as a flagship wine and plan to expand with more varieties, focusing on quality and low environmental impact.
